This bespoke feature staircase at Elvaston Place was developed by Michaelis Boyd Associates as a tribute to the original Doh Ho Suh piece displayed in the Tate Modern. It was created for the split level property and hangs off the existing building structure. The lightness and transparency of the mesh allows silhouettes and shadows to be projected onto the walls at different times of the day. This adds to the interest of the design and enhances the illusion that the stairs are floating.

The PerfTEC® range offers a wide array of holes and patterns punched into metal sheets.
