5 The Square recently underwent an extensive refurbishment project completed by 5plus Architects and now offers world-class office space on one of Europe’s leading business parks.

The aim of the project was to update the building to reflect its high-class facilities. To achieve this, our Perftec range was specified in the atrium that surrounds the building to create an impressive entrance. The bespoke twin-skinned panels were powder-coated in white and gold finish, with the metallic gold subtly shining through the perforation for a stunning aesthetic.

The atrium had previously been cladded with wood, which had rapidly deteriorated under the strain of the sunlight absorbed by the glass surrounding the site. This issue is now resolved with the new metal façade.

Our Vitramesh range was then installed behind the basins in the bathrooms. The bronze tensing mesh laminated in glass provides an easy-clean solution for the bathrooms and brings the entire project together cohesively. 

The scheme was a finalist in the 2,000sqm-10,000sqm offices category at the AJ Retrofit Awards 2017
